Wireless network questions

Tapping into the PLUG experience well...

Let's say, hypothetically, I want to wirelessly network my house to a fri=
end's=20
house.

Project parameters:
- Least expense as possible (isn't that always the desire?).
- Center of my lot and his lot is about exactly 330 feet (100 meters =3D =
328=20
feet), at the edge of wireless range.
- It would be "fixed" wireless on his end to his desktop PC.

What equipment is needed? Would additional antennas be needed? Pringle c=
ans=20
or stew cans or professional? Access point at both ends or just one?
