I'll beg to differ with you on that one. Granted, the vi that comes
with proprietary Unices and with the *BSD family hasn't changed (well,
the vi that comes with *BSD is actually nvi), there are a multitude of
different vi clones out there. Some of the more popular ones are elvis,
vile (VI Like Emacs), and my personal favorite, vim. Vim has lots and
lots of features that aren't in traditional vi, like URL editing ("vim
scp://host/path/to/file", "vim http://...."), syntax coloring, a GUI,
etc.

Just nit-picking. :)
