Maybe have your employer buy one of those cheap Linksys routers. (Maybe it
will help.)

(That reminds me: someday I want to look at Linux or BSD powered gateways
in small hardware devices like that.)

It would be better to try to convince the company to stay with Linux.

Would they be interested in continuing with Linux if they had a support
contract?

Maybe someone on this mailing list can supply part-time administration
services or a support contract.
