Subject: 12GB hard drive on old BIOS
I have a 75MHz Pentium (Packard-Bell) on which I am attempting to put a 1=
2GB=20
hard drive. I know the drive works because I just removed it fully=20
functional from another computer. It is obvious that the BIOS is old and=
has=20
the 8.4GB limit. I don't mind using only 8.4GB on this drive but I can't=
get=20
the darn thing to get past POST. It just reports "Media test failure" so=
I=20
am stuck.

Any hints or pointers?

Alan
