Subject: hauppauge winTV card
maybe i need to plug it into the aux plug rather than the cdrom plug on
my sound card. When I first started installing the thing I was unable
to get any sound out of either. after playing with some configurations
I found on line I was able to get some sound to work with it in the cd
input so I was pretty much happy with that at the time and never thought
to try moveing it to the aux port.

I haven't had much time to fiddle with it but it is working enough to be
able to watch tv while I surft the web.

Thanks for the responses
