evolution - getting/sending mail - DISASTER

Try using -U (Upgrade) to replace the packages. Your best bet might be to use
the cds for RH7.3 and do a rpm -Fvh --force *.rpm as this should cause rpm to
replace only instances of packages that are on the system, then rerun up2date,
but don't update evolution.

Better yet, upgrade the system to RH8.
