If you don't want to learn all of this firewall/NAT/DHCP stuff, use a=20
ready-made firewall distro. I recommend:

smoothwall
ipcop
clarkconnect

All of these are easy to use and setup. I have smoothwall as my DSL fire=
wall=20
running in a 100mhz 486 and keeps up just fine. I am experimenting with=20
clarkconnect now on a local box because it can do more things link a prin=
t=20
server, web server, web proxy and stuff.
