Hi Pete,
Though this looks like it should be a relatively simple network from the
available description, I can't totally understand how the devices have been
physically connected; I can't read the diagram relationships between the
devices because I am blind. I can certainly assist you, but a text
description of what is going on would certainly help.
For instance, how are those two XP machines connected to the network? Via
that Dlink hub/router combo, or some other way via that first RH 7.3 box?
Please feel free to continue this if you're still in need of an assist.
