Something that might help (guessing what you might be doing)
scp `find . -name "*.mp3"` 192.168.2.1:/place/for/mp3s
That will transfer all of the mp3s that can be found recursively from
the given path to a directory on 192.168.2.1.
Note the use of ` (Shift-~) instead of ' (not-Shift-")
