Subject: cd rom dying
That was fun. I opened my box and took the cdrom out. Then I opened the compaq
up and struggled to get it's cd rom out. I put it into my box and the memory
hit, "Take the scsi board out and put it into your machine." So back to the
compaq I went and took EVERYTHING apart to discover that the scsi controller
is on the motherboard. OOPS! Well, one good thing came of this; I realized
that this isn't an impossible thing for me to do. When the contemplation of
doing this hit me I was seized with fear! "I can't do this! I thought. I did
it and I'll do it again if I must.
