Just for future reference, I would really appreciate it if you told us
what was happening. You got me psyched up about a problem (big-endian
vs. little-endian, different salt accidentally used, etc.), but there
is no conclusion. ;-)
Additionally, other people may encounter a similar issue. This list is
available for reference to anyone who cares, and it is infinitely more
valuable if the solution is documented.
