That's the kicker - the evidence was collected illegally, so the case
was dismissed. Since the case took place during the promotion cycle, he
got an automatic promotion to the next paygrade, and then he retired at
the higher level.

As far as Navy pay goes - it pays more than an MCSE in Phoenix! It pays
50% more than the last Unix and WebSphere Admin ad I saw on DICE.
