dbench (http://?) is a great one for linux. Don't know about winblows
though. In linux, I reach a loadavg of about 2000, seriously, so
winblows would probably crack anyway.
You can always try looking through the gentoo portage tree because it's
organized very nicely, i.e. app-benchmark. Either that or freshmeat.
