I was hoping to hear from someone that had bought one
of these drives and successfully installed Linux on it ... before
I spend $300+ dollars on one of these babies only to find out
it's not supported yet. ;-)
Since I posted my note I did some research at Western Digital's
site. Apparently, these new large drives are packaged with
a "Promise Ultra 100 TX2" IDE controller card. Unfortunately,
Promise's web site had absolutely no information about Linux
support for this card. :-(
