No need to reinstall to see if its already installed type
rpm -q apache
if its not installed just go to the dir where the apache rpm is on the
disk and type.
rpm -i apachexxxx.rpm
this will install apache but you'll still have to configure it. Complete
directions on how to install can be found at
http://apache.org
