All you've got to do is wait for Argentina's economy to come recover -- come
back online and then kppp will re-appear in your KDE taskbar.

Seriously, from all of the dialup woes that you seem to be having, I suggest
the PPP-HOWTO and related (for your _utter_ convenience: http://www.tldp.org
and http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO ). Take two aspirin and post tomorrow.
