RPM is confused

Subject: RPM is confused
when you go to delete packages, you youmove them with just the package
name not the file name.
So if you installed an rpm by the name of gimp-1.2.3-5.rpm
(rpm -Uhv gimp-1.2.3-5.rpm)
you would uninstall it with just the package name of simply "gimp"
(rpm -e gimp)
