um, ion and several other 'window managers' have had support for this and
used it on the iPAQ for a couple of years now. In fact, the QT environment
on the iPAQ had excellent support for it.
Jim talked about getting this back into the main tree at ALS last year. Glad
to see it's finally going in. It really rocks.
