Dual boot

I'm looking to Dual boot Windows XP Pro and RH 8 on my laptop. I was trying
to search the archives for information on how to safely do this, but it was
taing forever, and I am curently d/ling the entire archive as we speak, but
that will take time. Can anyone give me some pointers, information, or tell
me where to go to get the information I need?
