Yes, I'm not too keen on AOL. And I find it amusing that I could've been
using my Qwest email address all this time! But one of the reasons I posted
that last message was to complain about Getnet-Inficad. Anybody else been
having similar problems? I'm definitely going to look for a different ISP.
As far as Compuserve, I was with them years ago, before they were part of
the Internet. I don't know if AOL still owns them, but if they still do, I
wouldn't trust AOL not to hose them up. The alias idea is a good one, in
fact, I have my own URL, nakota-software.com. The only reason I was using
my real address for PLUG was that my email client (Netscape at the time)
insisted on putting it in the "sender" field; so if I didn't use the same
address to subscribe, PLUG flagged me as a non-member and forced all my
messages to be moderated.
Later,
Vaughn
