I prefer Quanta probably because the GUI was easier for me to figure out how
to use. I use it regularly and the only complaint that I have is that it
doesnt rum my php code when I use its built-in page view function.
I like the point-and-stick code fragments for almost everything, from bolding
a word to tables and forms. It also has the ability to upload modified files
to a server, but I do not use that feature, preferring the control that gFTP
gives me.
I would also suggest getting a copy of HTML - A Definitive Guide and maybe
Web Design In A Nutshell if you are that inexperienced, but there are a lot
of good sites out there with plenty of information, most notably the W3C
(World Wide Web Consortium) at
http://www.w3.org.
