Subject: Computer Equipment
I'll be leaving Phoenix in several weeks, and will have no further use for
the following equipment:

One Dell Precision Workstation 210 with dual 450MHz Intel type II processors.
Each processor has 512K cache, and the system has 512Mb of ECC DRAM. I used
it as a Linux web/email/database server for about 14 months, and it worked
flawlessly under RedHat. I'm not sure if I'll part with the hard disk though:
it's only 10gig in size, and serves as my only backup at this time.

One Micron 180MHz Pentium pro bumped up to 200MHz. It has a 256K cache and
128Mb of ram. I may keep the 2gig HD on this box also, as it's my only backup
& will probably fail within the next 2 years anyway.

Each box has 10baseT & 10base2 Ethernet cards.

A 5 port, full-duplex 10/100 auto-sensing, fast Ethernet switching hub.

A Cybex switchview with 3 cable sets.

A 1,000 volt amp American Power Conversions Pro backup UPS.

An assortment of cables & other computer "stuff" collected over the years.

One HP OfficeJet G85xi color printer/scanner/copier/fax monster.

An external USR modem, and I'm pretty sure each box has an internal modem,
but I've always used the external modem...

You have to take ALL the equipment off my hands, and I want it to be used by
someone who is currently running a public proxy server [like magusnet.com],
or other FREE activity that benefits the Linux community in Phoenix [like
PLUG]. I would really, really, really like someone to run a Mixmaster type II
anonymous remailer with the slower box, as the Dell would be overkill.

I'm letting all this go for the sum of ninety-nine cents to someone who has
already established a reputation for helping others in the community. I'd
like the members of PLUG to decide who should receive the equipment.
