Subject: xterm/rxvt/konsole features that ought to exist
I wish Konsole had the following features:

1.) search the scrollback buffer using a regular expression.
I found this: http://www.ishiboo.com/~nirva/Projects/xterm-patches/
but konsole could do it with a menu item rather than an obscure key
sequence.
2.) ability to scroll horizontally rather than wrapping, as an option.
3.) _real_ session management; when you save your KDE session, each
konsole should remember its scrollback buffer, current directory, and
command history. I realize parts of this should involve the shell.
It could be combined with some kind of mechanism for bash to remember
different histories for different windows/ttys.

Anybody heard of such features in other xterm-type-things?
