Hello,

I am in market for DVD Recorded. It doesn't look like, it is as simple 
as buying a CD Recorders. There are different DVD formats. So, my 
questions are:
    1. What is a good DVD Recorder that will work with Linux and also 
with regular TV DVD players?
    2. What is the most promising format to stick to.
