I would posit that it shows the value of having
a spectrum of distros to choose from. The next
best OS has only four significant distros(*). I
don't see how they avoid waking up screaming in
the night in a fit of sheer vendor-lock terror
without at least 10 :)
* of course I'm speaking of Free, Open, Net, and Mac.
