Hello,

I configured my Debian system as a DHCP and it seem to get the IP address, but fail to report/register the hostname with the DHCP server. When the same box had Red Hat 7.1 with DHCP it did register with the server. So, I am reasonably sure that DHCP server is all right. In fact, the Windoze boxes on the system or registering their respective hostname.

And how do I find out what are the packages I have installed on the(Debian) system.

I am new to Debian, so please bear with me for sometime.

Sundar
