X as a client to XDM/KDM/GDM

A while back, I asked how to get X to be a client to an XDM/KDM/GDM
server like in LTSP. After much researching and figuring out the right
google phrase (Linux as an X client), I've found the answer. It was
simpler than I though, a simple X -quiet -query SERVER. Just thought
I'd let the list know, if anyone remembers anyway, what the answer was.
