Call me stupid but Corel is Debian.
You should be able to change the sources.list file to point to Debian.
Do
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
and you will have a Debian machine. I am fairly certain this works, but
can verify through the Debian ranks if you like. (i.e. no need to wait
for Xandros)
