Hi,
3 major distros that are commonly referred
to as, "user friendly" are Mandrake, Red Hat
and SuSE.
I use Mandrake. It has lots of GUI tools for
handling system configuration.
As for ease of install, after you've installed your
new hard drive, you can just pop the CD in the drive
while running Windows. It will autorun and should
walk you through the whole process. Alternately,
if you can wait till the end of September, you could
come to our upcoming install-fest and one of our
friendly volunteers will give you a hand.
