Broadband, DSL for Linux

I just moved here from Atlanta and used DirecTVDSL for a static IP and
1.5 down, 256 up for Internet. Deru prices are too high. What is
everybody using for basically the same? I don't think I can get
DirecTVDSL at my new house.
