For what it is worth, I have never been able to get Konqueror any version to work on a Java site. And yes I have it enabled and installed. Netscape and Mozilla both work on those sites.

IIRC, Konqueror (at least as supplied by redhat) defaulted on a new
install to java/javascript off and that would cause some sites not to
work.
