Subject: Firewire card for Linux
I was able to use the card that came with my DV Cam from a special at
Fry's a couple years ago. It was just fine as a generic UHCI/OHCI (I
forget right now). The only problem I noted was an amusing 3 second
delay between the cam and display but that's probably just my system.
The topic was well discussed in the Feb'02 issue of Linux Journal.
