Mounting Network shares

as long as smbfs is compiled into your kernel or you have a module to load
for smbfs, you would create an entry in you fstab to automount your shares
in linux. Here's what an entry woudl; look like.


//{host}/{share} /{mountpoint} smbfs gid=,uid=,username=,password= 0
