Arrgh. I was *sure* I'd installed it, but noooo. I don't suppose
there's a path through Rpm Dependency Hell these days? (yes, Debheads
(Debutantes?), I know apt roolz but I'ven't got that option ;-)
I go:
rpm -i evolution-1.0.3-4.i386.rpm and it replies:
error: failed dependencies:
scrollkeeper >= 0.1.4 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
GConf >= 1.0.7 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libbonobo_conf.so.0 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libgconf-1.so.1 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libgconf-gtk-1.so.1 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libgnomevfs.so.0 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libgtkhtml.so.20 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libgpilotdcm.so.1 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libgpilotdconduit.so.1 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
libgpilotd.so.1 is needed by evolution-1.0.3-4
I sure wish there was a way to invoke the install routine to bring in
stuff I missed the first time through. I guess I'll go browse around
RHN, just in case... Thanks for the suggestion though, I've been
hearing good things about Evolution and ought to give it a try.
