I thought it would be beneficial to review the posts about Linux Training and
recap it.
Andrew Bruner started by asking where he could get some Linux training. Many
people expressed an interest in it.
Derek offered to be a trainer, suggested some topics, and possibly procure
some space, either at Sequoia, in Gilbert, or downtown in Copper Square. Vic
volunteered to be the PLUG GPOT (Grand Poobah Of Training) and put together a
survey to help him assess things like topics, date and time, location, etc.
Dennis pointed us to a long-running online course. Jeff offered his services
as a professional training course builder. Kimi offered space on the west
side (35th Ave and Thunderbird).
So, in summary, we have people willing to do some training and places to do
it at. I encourage everyone who is interested in getting some Linux training
to fill out Vic's survey and we can take the next step.
For all of you who deleted the survey, I am attaching a copy of it as Vic
posted it.
