Liquid

I'm trying to install Liquid (http://www.mosfet.org/liquid.html) on my
machine from the source, but I can't really figure out how. I see the
instructions on the bottom, but I've never compiled anything before so I
don't know how. Can someone give me step by step instructions? I'm using
KDE 2.2.2/SuSE 7.3.
