I bought a "Ambicom" a while back and it has worked
absolutely PERFECT with everything I have plugged it into.
They are by the PCMCIA cards (modems, eth, etc).
Haven't tried it in Open/FreeBSD, but in my Debian Dell notebook
it worked flawlessly (also w2k).

Hi,
I'm getting ready to head down to Fry's to pick a wireless pcmcia. I would like it to be operable with Linux, FreeBSD, and W2K. Anyone have any recomendations as to which to select? I was thinking about the Linksys.
