OpenOffice 1.0 download site?

Installed fine on the linux system, but didn't create any cute little
icons. Not sure how many folks will figure out to run

/usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0/program/soffice

nor do i know how to create all the little icons for KDE. my efforts at
editing the kde menus have been confusing and unproductive. any
suggestions?
