Email probs

I use Hylafax on a RH7.0 server at work. I have root's email forwarded to my
work email address via sendmail. Recently these emails have stopped. I have
found that I can route root's email to an external Pop3 account. My question
is, what can I do to Sendmail to get around this apparent filter?
