intro and xemacs21.1 and java IDE

Hello wise ones,
I've been trying for quite some time to add a java + C IDE to my xemacs
21.1. Because of
these efforts and without intention, I've added a useful java IDE to my
emacs
installation. But I still want the xemacs IDE.

I'm running redhat 7.1 kernel 2.4.9.31 with gnome as my desktop. I'm
relatively new to
linux and very new to this group.

Can anyone walk me thru the process of adding a java + C IDE to my
xemacs 21.1?
