BYO or manufactured?

SuSE Linux 8.0 was released the 22nd. It comes with KDE 3, and Mandrake
released KDE 3 packages the 23rd.

I could be wrong on this but I don't think that as of yesterday - when
you wrote this - that any distro OFFICIALLY supported KDE 3.0.
