Well up till recently I was using Gnome. With a upgrade to slack 8 I notice
that Gnome added this nautilus file manager. I can't get that thing to run
stable. Nautilus keeps crashing X when I try to check my html dir (which is
rather large). It also has the same problem when handling a small number of
large files it seems. I switched back over to KDE while I try to figure this
out but the newer KDE layout is quite nice.
Has anyone else had problems with Nautilus?
It shouldn't matter where I downloaded the ISO for slack 8 from but in case
it does I got my ISO from Ga Tech.
