Once you follow the other's advice, here's what I did to get LimeWire to
run from the GUI (SuSE 7.3 + Icewm):
#!/bin/sh
cd /home/bob/LimeWire
CLASSPATH=".:collections.jar:xerces.jar:jl011.jar"
export CLASSPATH
J2SE_PREEMPTCLOSE=1
export J2SE_PREEMPTCLOSE
java -jar RunLime.jar
Most of it is their script. You can see my change.
