<g>. That was the output of a packaging system called 'portage' used by
Gentoo Linux (http://www.gentoo.org/) when I asked 'What would happen if I
upgraded to KDE3 today?'. Some packages were 'U'pgraded, some 'N'ew
dependencies would be installed.

With regard to KDE3, I guess you can just hang on a few weeks and reinstall
