I finally stopped procrastinating and this evening
upgraded my system from Red Hat 7.1 to 7.2, and in the
process bit the bullet, dove headlong into sawfish, and
abandoned Enlightenment forever.
It took me a couple of hours, but I finally got it
doing everything Enlightement was doing, in some cases
better, with a couple of minor exceptions I suppose
I'll figure out sometime down the road.
One question I have for this group is: are tear-off
menus a function of the window manager and not the
desktop manager? Evidently so, because I had them in
Enlightenment, and don't now that I'm running Sawfish.
I do use that feature from time to time.
