I have done this with 9GB SCSI drives with no issues, for 9GB drives it takes about 30-45Min.

I am trying it right now. I just think it is taking too long. They are identical 40GB, 100 DMA hard drives. I guess 40GB takes a while and I should have specified a start and end region since most of the drive is empty anyway. I also hope the high DMA does not prove a problem.

Thanks for the quick response! Anybody else have $0.02 of input?

that is how I copy old MSDOS floppys when I cannot find other
appropriate programs...

There may be an issue of the size of disk, and it may require them to be
the same, etc. If it were me I would just try it and see if it works...
