Actually, you can specify extra version on the command line when you
make-kpkg.

> make-kpkg clean
> make-kpkg kernel_image


scp -p ../kernel-image-<kernel-version>.deb firewall:
ssh firewall
su

> dpkg -i ../kernel-image-<kernel-version>.deb
