File Size Limit Exceeded?

Subject: File Size Limit Exceeded?
It's actually a thing with the kernel, I guess? When I run the same
command on a 2.2.x kernel, it stops at 2.0 gigs, when I run the command on
a 2.4.x kernel, it stopped at 5 gigs (where I stopped it)
