Subject: Is 3Dfx well supported in Linux?
I was gonna buy a video card for a new system I'm building when I traded
someone local my S3 Trio64+ for this 3Dfx video card.

When I boot, the first thing on the screen is:

MXIC
Micronix International
MX85251 BIOS 9/11/97 ver 1.05
4MB Frame Buffer 2MB Texture Memory

It has some 3Dfx chips and somewhere I read it could be a voodoo rush.
So, what is this thing?

I have another video card on a shelf in a box labeled:

Voodoo2
BLACKMAGIC 3D
3D gaming accelerator
12MB PCI Bus
STB

How can I best use these cards on a dual boot W2K/Linux system?

Are they designed to be used together?
