ifconfig eth* ipaddress netmask addr a.b.c.d -hw < MAC >
and spoof the bloody thing how hard is that? ....
i ran 4 pc's off of a 1 pc connection back in England by doing this ...
Tech support in most ISP's are as about as useful as a blown fuse so id say
stick to your gunz and find the solution that suites you ..
